Home Instead Senior Care provides award winning home-based care and companionship to more than 14,000 seniors across the UK, and it’s a franchise that has grown significantly since opening its first office in 2006.
Home Instead Senior Care recently held a prestigious gathering at Chester Cathedral to celebrate the opening of its 200th UK office in Dorchester and to welcome new franchisee, Romesh Dharmasingham.
This is a significant milestone in the company’s history and guests from the care and franchise world attending the event included Martin Jones, Managing Director of Home Instead; Dave Banark, COO of Home Instead US & Canada and the CEO of the British Franchise Association, Pip Wilkins.
Speaking of joining Home Instead, Romesh said, “It is truly an honour to open the 200th office of this fine organisation. This is an inspirational business which is making such a difference to the lives of older people and I look forward to contributing to its future success.”
Head of business development at Home Instead, Ruth Brown said, “Through our highly successful, proven franchise model, we are enabling the franchisees joining our network to make a step change in their lives. In turn, they are making a huge difference to the lives of thousands of older people and are making a real impact in their local communities.”
Pip Wilkins, from the bfa was keen to congratulate Home Instead saying, “Huge congratulations to Home Instead on reaching such an impressive milestone.
“Sometimes people who are involved in strong, successful franchise systems don’t always realise what an inspiration and example they really are. When you see a business that has an eye on the future as well as the present, never standing still, and above all, franchisor and franchisees working together for the good of the whole network it truly is a great example of how franchising should be done!”
They hold over 46 Care Quality Commission (CQC) ‘outstanding’ ratings – more than any other adult social care provider and placing them in the top 3% of providers in England. In Scotland their offices have achieved 5 and 6 Star ratings from the Care Inspectorate.
Home Instead has also been named as the number one franchise company for the second consecutive year in the Elite Franchise Top 100.
The care they provide is all about allowing people to remain, living independently, in their own homes and bringing peace of mind to their families.
Home Instead Senior Care franchisees put older people at the heart of everything they do. They support their clients to retain their independence by providing flexible, home-based services and companionship.
The team at Home Instead look for only the very best people to join their franchise network – people who share their vision and values and who are passionate about caring for seniors whilst building a successful and rewarding business.
