Pizza today announced that it has signed on with national and international franchise executives Keven Thomas and Greg George to open their new prototype Parrot Pizza Sports Café model in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Parrot Pizza will be rolling out their new sports café model that will be available to all new franchisees nationwide in the 4th quarter of 2006. Parrot Pizza a national pizza franchisor is a lunch and dinner quick service restaurant concept. The new sports café model will allow Parrot Pizza to market the their brand to middle school, high schools, college and professional sports fans as well families everywhere. The “All Day Approach” of lunch thru dinner allows for stronger sales and more success for their franchisee family. The new store will feature the six sporty Parrot Pizza All Stars with contemporary designs, big screen plasma TV’s and sport related video games. The model is a family oriented as their will be no smoking or any alcoholic beverages served.
Partners in the Parrot Pizza Sports Café are 25 year pizza veteran Kostas Drosos and franchise growth executives Keven Thomas and Greg George owners of The Empire Builders a highly successful national and international franchise development company based in Wilmington.

Parrot Pizza Sports Café will offer pizza, grinders, seafood, strombolis, wraps, pasta and chicken as well as televised sporting events and video games for kids and adults. The stores hours will be from 11:00 to 9:00 seven days a week. The location is next door to a new “state of the art” indoor batting instruction facility Batter Up. The store is expected to open on October 1, 2006.
