Ovenu, the UK’s leading oven-valeting franchise, is offering a financial lifeline to prospective franchisees with the launch of an innovative new Options package.
According to the British Franchise Association, the average cost of setting up a franchise in the UK is £42,200 including working capital.
With current economic fears leading many lenders to become more cautious, Ovenu has designed the new Options initiative to help give potential franchisees the financial flexibility to invest in starting their own business.
“There are many good prospective Ovenu franchisees out there, but with lending becoming more difficult, through no fault of their own they simply can’t raise the necessary finance,” explains Ovenu Founder and Managing Director, Rik Hellewell.
“We have therefore launched a comprehensive new package, which offers people the flexibility to spread their outlay and enable them to join the largest franchised network in the industry.”
Ovenu’s new Options package allows franchisees to split the cost of their initial purchase into two parts. For £4,950 franchisees will be able to purchase a start-up kit including initial training to ISO 9001 standard, equipment, tools, products and vehicle livery. They will then have the option to buy the license for a set fee each month.
Rik added: “As Ovenu is a private limited company we are in a position to decide our future with neither shareholders nor ‘government intervention’ getting in the way of progress.
“I firmly believe that this kind of flexible thinking is the way forward in these strange economic conditions. To give people the opportunity to work with the largest franchised network in the industry whilst being prepared and willing to offer ‘terms’ simply has to be a win-win scenario for both parties.”
Since 1994 Ovenu’s UK-wide network of more than 100 franchisees have cleaned more than one million ovens.
