Rainbow International’s Swindon, Chippenham, Newbury & Marlborough branch recently had the opportunity to restore an unusual commercial property following an electrical fire – a state of the art recording studio owned by rock legend Peter Gabriel.
All soot and smoke residue was removed from the interior stone clad walls, high level beams and skylight windows by the use of a poultice, applied to the affected areas, left for 24 hours and then removed. The absorbent poultice, and its chemical agent completely removed all traces of the fire to Owen Leach – the Studio Managers complete satisfaction.
Owen commented “Not only did the procedure remove all the staining, but Rainbow’s expertise also completely removed the smell of soot which was very pungent before they came to clean up”. The studio was available for recording just days after the Rainbow Restoration team had applied their expertise.
