5 year success story for Jane Jones of When the Music Stops
Jane Jones loves this time of year – the wintertime. Jane runs the When the Music Stops dating franchise for Solihull and East Birmingham and runs high quality dating events, such as dinner parties and speed dating across her exclusive area. She finds that winter is one her favourite times of the year, especially for helping people find love. The run up to Christmas, New Year and all of those resolutions, followed by St Valentine’s Day in February, mean that the winter season is usually a very good one for Jane and 2011/12 has been no exception.
She enjoyed record breaking events in the run up to Christmas and set a new company record on New Years Eve. 2012 is a very important land mark for Jane too, as it is her 5th anniversary of taking the franchise and beginning her quest to bring love to the people of the Birmingham area. It has been an exciting ride and we caught up with Jane to ask her about the franchise and how it has worked for her. Says Jane: “During the first 5 years of my franchise, I have built up a regular and dependable clientele, who have supported me very well and have spread the word to friends, relations and work colleagues. I have introduced literally thousands of people during this period.” She continues: “Being able to encourage them to take the first steps towards finding a new partner has given me a real buzz, it’s also been very satisfying to run such so many successful and well attended events and see people attending with renewed confidence in themselves over time.” But is this just something for the youngsters?
Dating has become very popular in the UK over the last decade or so but is it still something mainly aimed at those 21-35? We asked Jane her opinion. “All age groups are catered for by When the Music Stops, but certainly over the 5 years I have seen that it has been more and much more sociably accepted with older people. I enjoy running events for all ages, but I do find it easier to empathise with older age groups as I am older myself. So very much 60 is the new 50, and 50 is the new 40, come along and try it is my message. There really is something for everybody. “ We thanked Jane for her time and wished her every success for the next 5 years.
