Established in 2013 and with the first outlet opening in Cardiff in 2018, BUBL is a Waffle Hub that specialises in serving customers waffle art – delicious waffles made with high quality, fresh ingredients with a choice of delicious toppings and flavours of ice cream to go with them. Other desert choices include Waffle Lolly Sticks and Liege Waffles.

Customers can also choose from a range of drinks including quality coffee, hot chocolate, shakes and soft drinks.

A relatively new business, BUBL – The Waffle Hub already has ambitious expansion plans to open outlets in shopping centres across the UK and further afield. It will also be offering a delivery service so customers can receive waffles straight to their door.

The team behind BUBL has a great deal of experience of working with successful businesses in the industry, supplying them with crepe, waffle, milkshake or barista supplies before they took the decision to strike out and set up their own waffle outlet. Liaise with a company to build the kiosk. We can help you there as we have many contacts in the industry. Cost to build the 3mx5m unit should be contained between £20k-£25k+vat and should take about 6-8 weeks, within which you will have to:

  • Liaise with shopping center(s) & find a suitable location.
  • Pay rent deposits and sort legal contracts with all parties.
  • Purchase all the equipment (about £15k+vat) & initial stock supplies.
  • Register with health authorities & open suitable trade & bank accounts.
  • Recruit & Train Staff.
  • Open for business!

Note on Royalties: receive a big boost in the form of a 50% discount: royalties will only be charged 2.5% of gross sales in the first year of trading, as opposed to the full 5% charged thereafter.
