The Vision

Cookerburra was created from a dream, created long before we commenced trading in 1993. From our very first business plan the intention was always to franchise the concept of a professional commercial and domestic oven cleaning service.
The concept
To provide professional oven cleaning services for both domestic and commercial customers throughout the UK. This will be achieved through a franchise network, with each franchisee managing its own exclusive franchise territory.
The Market
The market for oven cleaning is vast with over 30 million households nationwide; potentially requiring an oven cleaning service. The commercial market which includes pubs, restaurants, hotels, cafes, leisure facilities and schools all need to ensure high standards of hygiene and may require professional oven cleaning.
Initial training
To start with, our initial training package lasts for three weeks and includes training in business planning, product knowledge, systems, sales, marketing, finance, operations, 2 day launch in territory and six days “in field” training.
Head office support
With Cookerburra, you are backed by our experienced and highly professional head office team who are all directly involved in supporting our franchisees. In addition, we meet with our franchisees when required and keep in contact on a regular basis to ensure that you are moving forward and to help you with any problems.
Business planning
Our continuous business and financial planning systems ensures that you will always remain in control of your business as it grows and periodic reviews will help to ensure that you are on track for business success.
Marketing support
Marketing is ‘the lifeblood’ of all successful businesses and at Cookerburra we take this very seriously. So much so that we employ one of the UK’s leading marketing experts Steve Mills to work with you for the first six months of your business. Steve will help you to produce your own personal marketing strategy and will work with you during your initial training weeks, and then on a monthly basis through a system of action plans and advice.

The Cookerburra initial package includes everything you need to get your business up and running including:
A comprehensive three week training programme, comprising of both Head Office training (marketing, operations and accounts) and in the field training, including a two day in territory launch and local marketing strategy.( Accommodation and meals provided within the package)

Complete stationery package including, initial supply business cards, head paper, compliment slips, invoices.
Franchise Operational Manuals
Corporate Dress Items including two sets of each item including embroidered polo shirts, sweat shirts, trousers, business shirts and blouses
Initial supply of proven Cookerburra “Own Label” products giving outstanding results time and time again
Cookerburra Operations Manuals
Bespoke Cookerburra software enables Franchisees effective management of their customer data base (customer care) and also acts as a proactive marketing tool.
Exclusive licensing rights to defined territories based on postcodes and socio economic groupings. At Cookerburra we allow our Franchisees sufficient territories to expand their business into a multi- vehicle operation and become a true management franchise.
The Investment
The total package price is £17,000 + VAT, plus deposits and repayments for vehicle, installation of dedicated telephone line, basic office equipment and working capital. We have agreements with several sources of finance, including the major high street banks should you need to raise the finance.
