Parents want to protect their children but sometimes they don’t have the expertise or the knowledge to be able to perform first aid should it be required. This can be worrying for parents who just want their children to be safe but also understand that they need to be allowed to have fun as well.
Daisy First Aid understands this dilemma and its classes are all about empowering parents so that they would know what to do if something went wrong at home or out and about. This means parents are more confident in allowing their children to explore and learn as they need to, safe in the knowledge that they can help if an injury were to occur.
Dairy First Aid classes focus on the whole situation and not just the injury that needs to be dealt with. That is why it starts with showing parents how to stay calm in a difficult situation and work confidently to help their child – or someone else’s child – if they need to.
The Daisy First Aid courses take two hours to complete and are carried out in clients’ homes making the entire experience much more comfortable. If this doesn’t suit, there are also designated training venues around the UK. Each course covers all of the basics of first aid including spotting the signs of meningitis and other serious childhood diseases and how to deal with fractures and injuries.
