Dancebites was formed in 1999 and has grown hugely over the past almost two decades that it has been running. Dancebites offers a variety of different dance lessons in local schools, at their own studios, at party venues and in people’s own homes.
Not only are their opportunities to learn and grow, there are also chances to take part in exams and receive certification and grading. This is more than a dance school for adults and children – there are one off workshops (such as learning how to prepare for a first dance at a wedding) as well as more structured classes that take place on a more regular basis. There is even an annual production that all Dancebites students can take part in – it is what they will be working towards for much of the time.
Classes from Dancebites includes street dance, ballet, tap, modern and drama and singing. These take place at evenings and weekends, before school, during lunch times and as part of the school curriculum. All children from 18 months to 18 years can be included in different classes that correspond to age levels and ability. For adults, the classes are focused more on what is to be achieved.
