Jigsaw Arts Franchise – Performing Arts Franchises UK
Run your own exciting and rewarding Jigsaw franchise
Jigsaw Performing Arts is an established company which has an excellent reputation for providing high quality classes, and recruiting experienced and exciting teachers.
Jigsaw Performing Arts was founded in 1995 by Nicola Lander. Following her graduation from Mountview Theatre School, Nicola went on to act professionally in theatre and television. Nicola’s training transformed her life and this inspired her to set up Jigsaw Performing Arts Schools. Nicola wholeheartedly believes in the benefits of performing arts for children.
The business7-18 group workshop-1
We currently run eighteen weekend performing arts schools in and around London for students aged three to eighteen years. All students take part in dance, drama and singing classes.
Students work towards shows and presentations and parents are given annual reports on student’s progress. Alongside these schools we offer themed holiday workshops and bespoke birthday parties.
For students with professional aspirations, we run a central London Youth Theatre Company. In 2013 we were awarded the opportunity to perform at the National Theatre as part of their Connections Festival. We also run a successful agency with students appearing in West End shows, television and national advertising campaigns.
The opportunity
With the success of the existing schools, Jigsaw Performing Arts is excited to be able to offer franchise opportunities in new areas to give more children a chance to experience the benefits of Jigsaw!
You can be a part of our success and enjoy the rewards of running your own fulfilling business. You’ll be investing in your future and the future of the children who attend your school, teaching them skills for life. And what’s more, it is also lots of fun!
Almost 20 years running, Jigsaw already has a strong brand identity, but in order to continue to provide the same high standards we need more people on board to invest time and energy in delivering great customer care and outstanding classes. We will work alongside our franchise network to achieve this.
You will be your own boss and fit your business around your existing life during the week. Your school will run in the morning or afternoon at the weekend for 33 weeks per year. There will be a small amount of administration and marketing that needs to be done during the week. You can start with one session, which can expand into the whole weekend and even weekday classes, turning this opportunity into a very financially rewarding full time job.
The support
Through our training and ongoing support we will assist you in all aspects of running your school and meeting our high standards. Jigsaw has the experience and knowledge in order to assist you in gaining new customers and, importantly, retaining your current ones. We have tried and tested marketing and administrative systems that ease the day to day running of the business.
The ideal franchisee
We require dynamic and energetic individuals with experience in or a passion for performing arts and working with children. Jigsaw promotes excellent customer service so you need to be extremely personable and enjoy dealing with people.
The franchisee will be the first point of contact at the school and you will manage a team of teachers to deliver the classes.
The finance
We expect the franchisee to have a gross turnover of £32,000 in the first year producing a profit of £11,000. There are ongoing opportunities to expand on this with additional classes and other services such as holiday workshops and Jigsaw Jumpers, our pre school programme.
