Little Softies was set up by two mums in 2009 and has grown to become the UK’s largest soft play hire company. The idea behind it is that parents can hire out soft play equipment, suitable for babies from six months up to three years, perfect for a celebration such as a small child’s birthday party. And it doesn’t have to stop there – Little Softie’s equipment is also hired out by customers hosting weddings, christenings, corporate parties and other get togethers.
It can be difficult to take babies and toddlers to soft play centres because of their routines or worries about bigger children, but Little Softies means that the soft play can come to them, offering the flexibility that children in this age range often need. The equipment comes in a range of shapes, sizes and colours, perfect for its target market.
From its head office in Warwickshire, Little Softies now manages franchises all over the UK – and even further afield, there is an agent based in Doha, Qatar. All agents are parents themselves who find that the flexibility lets them fit their business around their home life and they enjoy becoming part of a supportive community of like-minded parents and business owners.
