Business Structure
MAP is the only firm of Independent Financial Advisers to be franchised so far and we are full members of the British Franchise Association, we hold the Investors in People award, and we are fully authorised by the Financial Services Authority 489927.
Business Aims
Our advisers can only earn money when they are in front of clients, so that is what we concentrate on doing. It’s as simple as that.
Head Office deals with the majority of all admin work, and frees up said time for advisers to go and see people.
We do all the back office work, and progress cases with providers or lenders.
We provide specialist reports for specialist cases – IHT, Occupational Pensions, Long Term care etc.
Marketing
We have recently changed our marketing approach for franchisees, and we will now do your marketing for you and you will ONLY pay for this out of the resulting sales, and if there are no sales – then you pay NOTHING. You can’t say fairer than that.
Financial services is all about giving a service to the clients, and what our package does is just that. You can give your clients a service that is second to none, and you don’t even have to do anything either. Incidentally, we keep around 97% of all our clients. If you do not look after your existing clients, you are shooting yourself in the foot.
Marketing will consist of a mix of the following
An advert in your local paper – and this needs to be for at least 3 months
Regular mailshots to the important people in your area – niche marketing
We will contact all potential introducers in your area – accountants, lawyers and estate agents
We will contact all businesses in your area as well – especially with pensions being made compulsory very soon
You will be allowed pages on the MAP web site solely for you and your area.
Once we start marketing through the search engines, you would have first choice of referrals in your area.
MAP will work hard for you re marketing so that you can get your fair share of new business.
Costs
Our Initial Fee is only £5,000 to secure your franchise area
There are no other fees after this and we pay an advisers ongoing costs like FSA fees and PI insurance
All our other costs are recouped through the commission split which starts at 60% for you and can go up to 75% dependent on turnover .
You wouldn’t even have marketing costs up front either, as these can now be paid from sales made.
Remember that if you make nothing – then so do we, so it is on our best interests to get you moving.
