The Flying Doctor began sorting out PC problems in 2004. The company’s head office is in Oxford, and there are eight franchises which operate in that central area (including Reading, Henley, Newbury and Bicester). It was John Batch who started this company. He’s been in programming and worked with computer hardware for over 35 years. John saw that many people just didn’t have time to take their computer into a repair shop, so he decided that home or office visits were the way to go – house calls.
The Flying Doctor was founded by IT specialists who knew that if your PC crashed, life stopped. They don’t charge a call out fee and have a “No Fix – No Fee” policy. The company deals with hardware, software and internet issues. They believe in transparency and will tell you if your best option is to buy a new computer. They are also confident that most problems are fixable.
The Flying Doctor also offers its customers online advice and courses, such as a Windows 10 course and computer guides, to help customers sort out those little problems themselves.
