Wilkins Chimney Sweep has been cleaning chimneys as far back as 1895 when it was set up by Tom Wilkins in Newbury, Berkshire. Well over 100 years later, the business is bigger than ever with Wilkins Chimney Sweeps all around the country and the traditional values and sweeping practices still hold true to this day – although these days vacuums are used to complement the traditional rods and brushes and the sweeps travel around by van rather than bicycle!
Wilkins Chimney Sweep – Worthing and Brighton is run by Mark Frost who is based in Worthing where he has lived for more than 20 years. His customers are based along the south coast in a 15 mile arc from Worthing from Brighton & Hove in the east to Littlehampton in the west.
Mark is a fully trained chimney sweep who is a member of the Association of Professional Chimney Sweeps (APICS) and approved by HETAS. Like all of the Wilkins Chimney Sweeps he has been police checked and is fully insured with a minimum of £2 million public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.
Mark offers the full range of chimney sweeping services – from open fires to Agas and woodburners to the fitting of cowls and caps. He can also offer customers a diagnosis of any chimney problems they have been experiencing.
