Wings To Go, franchise has signed former NFL great William “The Refrigerator” Perry as national spokesman for the restaurant chain.
Wings To Go, Inc., the popular national franchise famous for buffalo style chicken wings, has signed William “The Refrigerator” Perry as the official national spokesman for the chain. The 3-year partnership will feature “The Fridge” in national Wings To Go advertising including print, radio and television as well as contests and appearances. “I look forward to working with the Wings To Go folks.”
“The people are great and the wings are some of the best I’ve had.” said the former NFL star. According to Wings To Go, Inc. president Mark Goodnow, “Wings To Go is all about the quality of the food across the board and our franchisees best represent their local markets. No spokesman could represent us better than The Fridge”. The launch of the new campaign featuring The Fridge and created by TEN24 Sports Marketing will roll out in August.
William Perry gained immediate popularity his rookie year in the NFL with the Chicago Bears. A first round draft pick in the 1985 draft, not only did “The Fridge” become a pro-bowl lineman on defence, but he was also called on to help the offence. Through that almost perfect 16-1 rookie season, his 10 year NFL career, and eight years in retirement, The Fridge has maintained his status as one of football‘s most beloved big-men. His Super Bowl ring remains the largest ever made and his popularity continues to grow.
Maryland based Wings To Go, Inc. is one of the fastest growing quick service food chains in the country. With locations in 22 states from coast to coast, Wings To Go is best known for their authentic buffalo style wings and sauces. The 85 franchises add local flavour to their locations to represent the local market, but the quality of their wings are common throughout the chain.
