With the 2009/2010 football season recently underway Signs Express in Exeter
took advantage of the early pairing of Exeter City at home to Norwich City
to commence celebrations of their 15th year in business.
With the Signs Express franchise HQ based in Norwich the match provided an ideal
opportunity for the Signs Express centres to demonstrate their continued
support for their local teams by taking on the matchday sponsorship for
Exeter’s first home game of recent times in League 1.
A number of Signs Express directors & guests traveled down from Norwich to
Exeter for the August 15th match, joining a 20 strong group of invited
guests for pre-match hospitality and 90 minutes of football action.
A fairly balanced game ended with honours even at 1-1, allowing Exeter City
to build on their promising start with their first League 1 point, whilst
Norwich City could take comfort that they may well be able to survive in
League 1…(despite an initial 7-1 drubbing at the hands of Colchester).
Signs Express (Exeter) has been a long-term sponsor and supporter of Exeter
City Football Club, having recently been appointed as official ‘sign
partners’ in recognition of its contribution to the club’s development in
recent years.
Over the years many signs have been donated & sponsored to aid
the running & development of the club.
