Hunters Growth Continues

Hunters Skipton continues expansion in the Aire Valley, with a new branch in Keighley

Hunters, one of the country’s leading estate agents, is delighted to announce a new branch opening in Keighley, adding to their fast expanding network. The new branch will join a string of successful Hunters offices already well established in the region and will be the second office for the owners of Hunters Skipton. Each of the branches have a prime high street location and will take the number of Hunters branches in Yorkshire alone to 41.

Having opened its first branch 23 years ago in York, Hunters is rapidly becoming one of the major players on the national property scene and estate agency franchising, with over 170 branches now nationwide.

Father and Son team-Rory & Andrew Procter, who will be franchise owners of the new Keighley office, bring with them a wealth of existing industry skills, after setting up the very successful and award winning Skipton branch 6 years ago. Since opening Skipton in 2010, the business has become one of the top Estate Agents in the area for Sales & Lettings.

Rory Procter comments: “We have taken a large market share in Skipton, The Dales and down the Aire Valley. We are especially pleased to have Sold and Let property as far as Oxenhope, Haworth, Oakworth and the surrounding villages from our base here in Skipton. With Hunters branches in Shipley, Bingley and our own here in Skipton, Keighley was the missing link and obvious choice when we were ready to grow the business further. We will now be able to provide full cover from Buckden in the Dales right over to Oxenhope in Bronte Country, this will include Silsden, Cross-Hills, Sutton and Steeton which are areas we are keen to develop further. With an office either side of these villages, we have got it covered”.

Rory who is a director of the company will be based at the new branch, which will initially provide 3 new jobs in a building that has stood empty for some time. Having undergone extensive refurbishment, the spacious offices at 46-48 North Street will have a period theme reflecting the heritage of Keighley as a prominent industrial town, in the days of the steam railway. An informal and spacious coffee lounge area will invite visitors to relax whilst having a chat and a brew. No expense has been spared and the windows will highlight property on the very latest ‘Meercat’ illuminated displays. State of the art telephone and IT equipment has been installed along with bespoke internal display areas and private offices for client meetings.
