Bardon Group managing director Nigel Toplis took part in the first European Master and Multi Unit Conference which was held at the Park Plaza Victoria in London recently.
Franchise Update Media holds a Multi-Unit Franchising Conference (MUFC) each year in the USA and decided to host a similar event in the UK for European franchisors. The strength of the MUFC derives from an advisory board that includes some of the best multi-unit and multi-brand franchisees in the business.
Leading franchisor Toplis, whose franchise brands include Kall Kwik, Techclean, Recognition Express and ComputerXplorers was invited to participate in a panel session to discuss master franchising and multi-unit franchising along with CEO of Edwards Global Services, William Edwards and CEO of Bartercard Operations UK Ltd, Philip Ciniglio.
Said Nigel: “I am a passionate supporter of franchising as business model and keen to share my insight and knowledge gained over 25 years in the industry with others considering expanding their franchising operation. The conference has always worked well in the USA and I think it was a great idea to set up a European event for those of us this side of the pond to network and share ideas.”
